Media-Circus Malevolence

A wheel caves in without a spoke --
the part essential to the whole.
While rain forests go up in smoke,
man's folly dissipates his soul.

The pollution in our oceans
wipes out the plants and fish.
Our most foul and base emotions
just limn a dark death-wish.

Our differences divide us --
man's inhumanity to man
(like a chancre filled with pus)
excoriates all hope or plan.

The outcome is uncertain,
hard to tell what lies in store.
We may find that it's just curtains,
and unleash nuclear war.

Each day more species vanish
as we pillage and despoil.
It's common sense we banish
in our desperate search for oil.

A Malthusian catastrophe
lies waiting round the bend --
and our much vaunted fecundity
indicates a ghastly end.

The Village Blacksmith

Under a spreading chestnut-tree

Un baiser sous le pont des soupirs

From 1600 till now,
the Ponte dei Sospiri
has inspired marvelous legends --
the one most people find inspirational
was used in a fine film of romance.
It's inspired many a sweet rendezvous
in a gondola at dying of day.

The bridge's white limestone walls
and pouting, dark barred windows
overshadow Venice’s Grand Canal.
The legend states that lovers
will be blessed with a love as strong
as the arching massif itself.
It’s said that one simple kiss
at twilight, when the bells toll,
will bind two lovers forever
in eternal, undying bliss.

The tale has burgeoned and spread
across the wide breadth of our world,
and many’s the happy couple
who’ve kissed with that bridge overhead.

If love is your ultimate goal,
perhaps you might want to explore
the gorgeous Old World charm of Venice,
with someone you’ve come to adore.

Life Titles

Those other titles for my life are not right.
This is how I know they are not.

I arrived late to San Luis Obispo where my family sleeps
surrounded in the cove of Seven Sisters.

The coyotes were on the hill
digging up our dead dog buried next to the cats.
I did not stop them. I did not cry.
I got out of my car to look up at the Milky Way,
the great belt of light, because here
like Maui, one can actually see these things.

I thought about what is true; what is real.

In the morning scraps of fur were stuck to the bushes
bits of cloth were rolling around in the wind.
And, I asked myself what of my life would be translated
by the wind after the coyotes came for me?

Now I am ready to write the truth

She Who Remembers is someone else's story.

I have told it well because I could.
It is time to write about my life. The title will change
as I unravel it from words that belong to anyone
they just happen to be mine in this moment.

When I am finished the wind will tell you what I lived.

John Greenleaf Whittier, America's "Quaker poet" of freedom, faith and the sentiment of the common people, was born in a Merrimack Valley farmhouse, Haverhill, Massachusetts, on the 17th of December 1807. The dwelling was built in the 17th century by his ancestor, the sturdy immigrant, Thomas Whittier, notable through his efforts to secure toleration for the disciples of George Fox in New England. Thomas's son Joseph joined the Society of Friends and bore his share of obloquy. Successive generations obeyed the monitions of the Inner Light. The poet was born in the faith, and adhered to its liberalized tenets, its garb and speech, throughout his lifetime. His father, John, was a farmer of limited means but independent spirit. His mother, Abigail Hussey, whom the poet strongly resembled, was of good stock. The Rev. Stephen Bachiler, an Oxford man and a Churchman, who became a Nonconformist and emigrated to Boston in 1632, was one of her forebears and also an ancestor of Daniel Webster. The poet and the statesman showed their kinship by the "dark, deep-set and lustrous eyes" that impressed one who met either of these uncommon men. The former's name of Greenleaf is thought to be derived from the French Feuillevert, and to be of Huguenot origin; and there was Huguenot blood as well in Thomas Whittier, the settler. The poet thus fairly inherited his conscience, religious exaltation and spirit of protest. All the Whittiers were men of stature and bodily strength, John Greenleaf being almost the first exception, a lad of delicate mould, scarcely adapted for the labor required of a Yankee farmer and his household. He bore a fair proportion of it, but throughout his life was frequently brought to a halt by pain and physical debility. In youth he was described as "a handsome young man, tall, slight, and very erect, bashful, but never awkward." His shyness was extreme, though covered by a grave and quiet exterior, which could not hide his love of fun and sense of the ludicrous. In age he retained most of these characteristics, refined by a serene expression of peace after contest. His eyes never lost their glow, and were said by a woman to be those of one "who had kept innocency all his days."

Whittier's early education was restricted to what he could gain from the primitive "district school" of the neighborhood. His call as a poet came when a teacher lent to him the poems of Robert Burns. He was then about fifteen, and his taste for writing, bred thus far upon the quaint Journals of Friends, the Bible and The Pilgrim's Progress, was at once stimulated. There was little art or inspiration in his boyish verse, but in his nineteenth year an older sister thought a specimen of it good enough for submission to the Free Press, a weekly paper which William Lloyd Garrison, the future emancipationist, had started in the town of Newburyport. This initiated Whittier's literary career. The poem was printed with a eulogy, and the editor sought out his young contributor: their alliance began, and continued until the triumph of the anti-slavery cause thirty-seven years later. Garrison overcame the elder Whittier's desire for the full services of his son, and gained permission for the latter to attend the Haverhill academy. To meet expenses the youth worked in various ways, even making slippers by hand in after-hours; but when he came of age his textbook days were ended. Meanwhile he had written creditable student verse, and contributed both prose and rhyme to newspapers, thus gaining friends and obtaining a decided if provincial reputation. He soon essayed journalism, first spending a year and a half in the service of a publisher of two Boston newspapers, theManufacturer, an organ of the Clay protectionists, and the Philanthropist, devoted to humane reform. Whittier edited the former, having a bent for politics, but wrote for the latter also. His father's last illness recalled him to the homestead, where both farm and family became his pious charge. Money had to be earned, and he now secured an editorial post at Hartford, Connecticut, which he sustained until forced by ill-health, early in his twenty-fifth year, to re-seek the Haverhill farm. There he remained from 1832 to 1836, when the property was sold, and the Whittiers removed to Amesbury in order to be near their meeting-house and to enable the poet to be in touch with affairs. The new home became, as it proved, that of his whole later life; a dwelling then bought and in time remodelled was the poet's residence for fifty-six years, and from it, after his death on the 7th of September 1892, his remains were borne to the Amesbury graveyard.

The flaming ship of love that overlooks the frozen sea

The telephone defies a foolish wish

To hear the old voice brought from fatal days

That shrieked and flared the sacred “love you” piss

Of swirling torments raised against the grays;

Salute themselves and burn with raucous joy

That fears collapse and counteracts with dark

Obsession, seething reds and yellows. Ahoy!

For no land seen from blazing, racing, bark

At the age of fifteen, he fell in love and shortly thereafter he wrote his first poem. As a young man, Burns pursued both love and poetry with uncommon zeal. In 1785, he fathered the first of his fourteen children. His biographer, DeLancey Ferguson, had said, "it was not so much that he was conspicuously sinful as that he sinned conspicuously." Between 1784 and 1785, Burns also wrote many of the poems collected in his first book, Poems, Chiefly in the Scottish Dialect, which was printed in 1786 and paid for by subscriptions. This collection was an immediate success and Burns was celebrated throughout England and Scotland as a great "peasant-poet." (from Wikipedia)

Watching Oblivion's Inferno Night Sky

I stand on the sands of oblivion

writing with my blue exotic snake

while looking at the inferno night sky,

watching the retreating light

run away from me and my world

I ponder on such thoughts as

truth and its essence,

"reality is just a perception"

therefore right and wrong

cannot possibly exist

and any way of living is

as acceptable as any other,

or perhaps

"reality is true to the individual"

creating resolve from within

Someday Maybe Then

this quiet clock may settle
hands-
rest palms in sunlit patches
of hovered "I-know" smiles.

of circles sketched, eyes

might sigh, filtered

by finger-light,

content to touch her other

face and the silence unspoken.

and arms could embrace

all mystery-

of sun and moon,

of pearls drawn from warmth

Beyond Tomorrow

The bugler blows his mournful taps
The drummer bows his head.
At dawn the enemy invades,

The flag will fly forevermore,
Old Glory will not fall.
But the blood that's shed to save her

Pitch Black

Affection stumbled in shadows,
as bloodstains bordered cell walls,
stuffing apathy into emotion.

The stars ignited
as flames were rekindled,
pretending to be casualties
when chaos was cloaked.

Gray asphalt provokes nostalgia,
paralyzing masked expressions
where simple sentences
exposed insecurity
and breakdowns were not songs
sung on musical chords
or choked voices,
but recessions into recollections -

The Latter Day Sinners Circus

In the altered states of latter day sinners,
Kaleidoscopes of evil swirl in and out of circus skies.
It hums above them and fills their eyes with rings of fire,
that hit the big top,
and illuminates the midways.

Children guide the elders
to the candle lit caravans that surround the carnival.

Fortune tellers rise from the red striped wind blown tents,
as lions with full bellies
who feasted on believers,
fill the bleachers with weeping butterflies and laughing soldiers.

With horrid screams
from their lacerated throats,
the sword swallower's fire the human cannon ball up
towards the bleeding Jesus.
Who walks the tight rope using his cross,
to save his life,
and balance his way to the other side
where his Father awaits.

Canopy

Silver birds, silhouettes on blackened sky,

conceal their flocks in ancient oaks

and dwell in nests of bone.

The fear, dwelling within every soul,

creates a dark canopy over the heavens,

brooding and ominous in a starless sky.

From morning until dark victory,

this fear is building an army

in the hearts of every man.

Only until the earth opens up and

scatters the silver birds from their broken trees

to fly aimlessly until the end of time

will the day come when the ravens

make their homes in sheltered hollows

and cease their vigilant sleep,

the dark canopy will lift from human hearts,

and the earth, again, will be free.

Out of Africa (tribute to Karen Blixen)

And I stand and watch my Africa disappear,
after all the years and shed tears;
droughts and floods, I am weary and alone.
I find myself aching for a warm bed
and strong arms to remove the stabbing pain I feel.

I have buried my love beneath his beloved
Africa, now there is no more left I can give her.

I took the newly formed iron horse,
bellowing smoke and roaring,
to this land so hopeful,
in a marriage of convenience;
for a title and for comfort.

I found Duchess meant so very little here
and the love for Africa so unexpected.
A husband who preferred his trophy hunting
than to stay with a poor Danish wife; who
through no folly of her own, and every
mistake of his, could bear them no children.

then I met the legend that was to become my all,
the great white hunter, Haddon.
He showed me Africa through his eyes
and asked that I told the story through
my own, in a journal he bought from an Egyptian
foray and a quill of ostrich plumes.

I had come so far in a few short years,
seen the jungle reclaim land I had sowed,
fought wars with unseen enemies from
distant shores.
I had survived and grown fond of the wild,
the children's faces in the new school house,
learning of the wider horizon outside their door
and the freedom that was the Africa, shared with
me more than once, in beads and hooting owls.

I watched the lions sleep on Haddon's grave; out
on the savannah's grassland, in warm desert winds;
they embraced him as a brother, or as if
in reverence to a master; he hunted but
he did so with grace to their kind and their realm,
they roared in lonely choirs for him,
a tribute I shall not easily forget.

if Africa had become my one true love,
then leaving it would become my only regret,
but stories don't always have happy endings,
they simply end and the savannah claims them,
takes them back into the soil, returns them to the heart of this land.

I looked back but once, and only briefly,
at the white stuccoed house that held me prisoner
as a wife, and my salvation as a woman of
greater strength and vision, when Africa breathed
its life into my bones, and perhaps;
once more I shall know her beauty, not in body
on an earthly plain, more in spirit-
eternity, when I can soar above her forever.

Paul Revere's Ride

Listen my children and you shall hear Of the midnight ride of Paul Revere, On the eighteenth of April, in Seventy-five; Hardly a man is now alive^[4] Who remembers that famous day and year.

He said to his friend, "If the British march By land or sea from the town to-night, Hang a lantern aloft in the belfry arch Of the North Church tower as a signal light,-- One if by land, and two if by sea; And I on the opposite shore will be, Ready to ride and spread the alarm Through everyMiddlesex village and farm, For the country folk to be up and to arm."

Then he said "Good-night!" and with muffled oar Silently rowed to the Charlestown shore, Just as the moon rose over the bay, Where swinging wide at her moorings lay The Somerset, British man-of-war; A phantom ship, with each mast and spar Across the moon like a prison bar, And a huge black hulk, that was magnified By its own reflection in the tide.

Meanwhile, his friend through alley and street Wanders and watches, with eager ears, Till in the silence around him he hears The muster of men at the barrack door, The sound of arms, and the tramp of feet, And the measured tread of the grenadiers, Marching down to their boats on the shore.

A hurry of hoofs in a village street, A shape in the moonlight, a bulk in the dark, And beneath, from the pebbles, in passing, a spark Struck out by a steed flying fearless and fleet; That was all! And yet, through the gloom and the light, The fate of a nation was riding that night;

And the spark struck out by that steed, in his flight, Kindled the land into flame with its heat. It was two by the village clock, When he came to the bridge in Concord town. He heard the bleating of the flock, And the twitter of birds among the trees, And felt the breath of the morning breeze Blowing over the meadow brown. You know the rest. In the books you have read How the British Regulars fired and fled, How the farmers gave them ball for ball, From behind each fence and farmyard wall, Chasing the redcoats down the lane, Then crossing the fields to emerge again Under the trees at the turn of the road, And only pausing to fire and load.

So through the night rode Paul Revere; And so through the night went his cry of alarm To every Middlesex village and farm, A cry of defiance, and not of fear, A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door, And a word that shall echo for evermore! For, borne on the night-wind of the Past, Through all our history, to the last, In the hour of darkness and peril and need, The people will waken and listen to hear The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed, And the midnight message of Paul Revere.

The lads in their hundreds to Ludlow come in for the fair,

There's men from the barn and the forge and the mill and the fold,

And many to count are the stalwart, and many the brave,

And many the handsome of face and the handsome of heart,

And few that will carry their looks or their truth to the grave.

I wish one could know them, I wish there were tokens to tell

The fortunate fellows that now you can never discern;

And then one could talk with them friendly and wish them farewell

And watch them depart on the way that they will not return.

But now you may stare as you like and there's nothing to scan;

Bursting in Light

Music!

The air is ringing, it's charged

It's dancing with you,

you are glowing as bright as a star

resonating in your diaphragm!

Then ... a twist, a soft note and ...

BOOM!

Your whole body moves by itself,

and inside ... hope smiles

eyes reaching out with laughter.

That moment in time

... stopped just for you.

a wish of childhood days.

Can you remember?

All the plays, and pretenders?

Arms waving in the air,

so light, so pure ...

Those have gone,

but etched in the heart

the dreams seeded ... nothing to stop them

from ever breathing

through us, by us, with us ...

For dreams long forgotten

we are,

someone dreamed us,

and now... we dream for somebody else.

Every tip of a fingers touch,

can explode in a rainbow

of unimaginable Love.

       Midas' hand touched
the horizons' drifting snow
       guilding the evening

Gather gold to your treasure box.
Gather the wisdom of the Hebrews,
the fantasies of the Greeks,
Homer and David,
gather sonnets and psalms.
Dig deep into the mines of Bede and Herodotus,
Churchill and Wells.
Gather the treasure long ago forged
but still keeping its sheen:
whether Dickens or the Brontés,
Emerson or Swift.
Gather gold to your treasure box.

       shimmering silver
on the dancing midnight brook
    the moon laughs gently

In Solomon's day
silver was like stones in the streets of Jerusalem.
In our day
the streets are fairly cobbled with silver:
dailies, quarterlies, monthlies, weeklies,
lexicons,anthologies,translations abound.
Take out your shekel,
test them,
weigh them out twice.
Gather the finest argentry to your treasure box:
whether Jacob Polley or Lawrence Ferlinghetti,
Dylan or Dylan,
Rap or Rhythm 'n Blues.
That which shimmers in your heart,
gather to your treasure box.

       cinders of dawn stars
will fall to earth as diamonds
    in tomorrow's early light

The treasure box is never full.
Scan the horizon
perhaps you will catch the glimmer
of a diamond rising
that others will cherish and gather to the trove.
The eye of the sage will dim,
and young eyes will open to see light that
your eyes shan't.
Those young eyes, though, may catch a glint
of light from long ago
if you guard the treasure box as a faithful ward.
Guard it for those who will understand it's worth...
they in turn will fill it up beyond measure.

Unlike A Queen

Shrill cries of seagulls fall from the air

as birds ride warm thermals off her shore.

An old ocean ripe with primal smells

sprays a salty brine upon her core.

In solitude she stands gazing out

looking for her birth-land and sister twins.

In Paris and Luxembourg Gardens,

they too raise their torches to the winds.

"Liberty Enlightening the World",

sisters born to celebrate kinship.

Stout guardians of independence,

gestures of two great nation’s friendship.

Freedom symbols for the U.S. and France

standing for a new faith in mankind.

Our copper lady’s a beloved friend,

holding her light high for all to find.

At her feet lies a broken shackle

representing the rise from oppression.

Wearing a crown of the seven seas,

she portrays a regal expression.

Greeting the sun in New York’s harbor,

standing tall and proud in robes of green;

poised with grace, dignity and grandeur,

bare feet in sandals, unlike a queen.

Roger, age 61 of Fresno, Ca. died on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Community Hospital in Fresno, Ca.

Roger was born on May 14, 1946 in Lebanon, Tn. He attended elementary school in Madera and graduated from Madera High School, class of 1964 and entered the U.S. Army the same year. Following basic training he served 3 years duty in Germany. Roger was a 40 year resident of Fresno, Ca.

Roger was employed by the Conwood Corporation of Memphis, Tn. as a California Marketing Representative for 20 years, retiring in 1998.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Irene Helm of Madera, a son and two daughters and spouses, Roger C. Worley II and wife Joscelyn of Oakland, Ca. , Karla and Husband Matthew Detmer of Modesto, Ca. and Leslie Worley of Turlock Ca., and one grandchild, Alexis Marie Detmer of Turlock, Ca. Four step brothers and sisters, Roger Helm of Fresno, Ca. Paul Helm of Santa Cruz, Ca, Claudia Eller of Fresno, Ca, and Margot Sciacqua of Madera, Ca. and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be at Jay Chapel on Thursday, January 3, 2008 from 2 to 8 PM.

A graveside service and interment will be at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera on Friday, January 4, 2008 at 2 PM.

The family requests remembrances to Childrens Hospital of Central California or the American Cancer Society.

Irresistible

He looked at me today as he walked by.

A gentle look; a most beguiling eye.

As if to tempt me; asking me to stay.

“Come chat a while” I almost hear him sigh.

But I have noticed him before today,

and every time he looks at me this way.

With minutes ticking by again so fast;

admire him? yes of course, but couldn’t say.

Maybe today I’ll stop a while at last.

Although this time his eyes are downward cast;

appealing still, something I can't deny.

I know he’s pleased that I’m not rushing past.

I can't resist; I feel I must reply.

The Hitchhiker

The hills are stacked with city houses,

above and below,

as the road disappears through a tunnel.

Sound diminishes within hushed echoes.

It seems so much more

than a couple of years

since decidedly standing

upon the on ramp of escapement

from small-town views.

Now reaching the end

of this highway’s promise.

and called Tennessee

her home;

I was new

on the road to nowhere.

She picked me up out of the night

and we drove on;

Her beauty was beyond me

like a best friend’s mother.

She was watching my shy glances

as we talked away the miles;

until her eyes held mine

and a confident hand

touched me.

Somewhere on the side

of a Pennsylvanian road

I forgot all about the

high school girls.

What impresses me the most

is the limitless diversity of people

and their eager willingness

to befriend a stranger;

if a stranger is willing to be a friend.

Trees fall hard on the edge

of the Rockies;

at least for the new kid,

only three days in logger’s camp comrade.

But a skidder rolled today,

tomorrow we’ll bury a veteran

and I feel like I’ve known these people

my whole life.

Cultural and geographical changes

are superficial;

in the end we really are

all the same.

Backpack in tow

I climbed aboard

with a simple man

who spent hours

trying to sell me the Bible.

Carefully, I listened,

because every soul has a story to tell.

He dropped me off

at love’s doorstep

in the Pacific Northwest.

I became a second rate cook

for a lousy waitress -

barely out of high school.

She was exotic

with eyes to mesmerize

And I became the fool,

a puppet waiting for strings.

But boy,

could that girl dance,

may the bus boy

have the best of luck.

I could go home now

if I thought I might belong.

But the road only goes one way.

It’s not very far, but long enough

and as day light heralds the tunnels end

I am granted a view of virgin landscape.

A vast valley

without a single man-made-structure

and I am tempted to believe

that this is all undiscovered;

if not for the road running through it.

So You Think You Are Known by Your Self?

BE A STRANGER TO YOURSELF.

you think

'you' know your own 'self'?

Then you think 'you' know what Self is.

When you take it for granted, your 'me' is owner and keeper?

As if you, as your 'you', are your own independent preserver!

You think,

and you stand,

as if supporting your 'self',

yourself!

While not even remembering to breathe in your 'tent'!

Do 'you' keep your heart beating

while your nature is completing

its Truth

which you didn't invent?

There are 'Hands' that waft over oceans

across worlds we've not known,

in which your dependence is held like a mote.

You are what you've always been,

though you don't remember,

before even the thought of 'you' 'spoke'!

In that mind which would have tailored independent existence,

when cut from no such cloth beyond the Universe!

Know it isn't alone

when facing the danger.

When you've learnt to have 'Vision',

you'll see yourself as a stranger.

Beauty

beyond anything

you possibly could imagine;

your psyche released into far beyond

anything your stubborn mind

could possibly grasp.

Learn to become

A stranger to

yourself

unless

you

are

ass.

The Pope’s Red Shoes

I called across the canyon

The snake wind echoed my name

Red shoes fell from the sky

like stardust or manna from heaven

Singing over the rainbow

and tap dancing on the good ship

lollypop I narrowed my vision

picked up a pair to wear

My feet glistened crimson

sparkled with rubies

ignited vermilion flames

My name still resonated

the Voice of G-d

The canyon’s red walls paled

The sun lost its searing glow

Other red shoes crept away

into ancient crevices or hid

under boulders billions of eons

I tapped my heels together

in prayer in emulation of ?

The canyon whirlwinded away

The sky flew by on its broom

I found my beyond home

The Colormaker's Nest

When days go on like sad, sad songs

and poems bite the dust

and words just seem to tag along

and wither as they rust

when times like these

are left at ease

and hope's just left to die

that's when I crawl

back up that wall

and give it one more try

there's nothing life can pin on me

for giving all I've got

I've made it there and back for free

and fate can't have my spot

the world's a place

where all can face

each day with hope to fix

the things that drain

the clouds that rain

into a sweeter mix

with patience and a steady sight

we're sure to see the sky

for through the clouds comes idle light

and rainbows way up high

they mark the time

to spread your rhyme

and finish with a start

and though you may

see only gray

you'll always have your heart

and colors, you'll have colors too

'cause in the tears of truth

it's clear to see the brighter you

so share your youth forsooth

with pinks and greens

and ultramarines

and lavender-lilac-la mode

'cause time's best spent

when you invent

your colors, your choices, your road

and in your strands they'll see your tale

your stories will shine like the dew

as I pray that yours will never fail

I remind you that sometimes, they do

now this spider's got news

of new hues to infuse

and more storm clouds are bound to appear

so goodbye my dear

your path is now clear

may you shimmer each color you choose.

To Night Hope...What Sisters Know

I, too, immerse myself

in the waves of your thought

~ for they are yours,

whether inspired by Neruda,

or another ~

and find myself going under

in a brush of eternity

with an old soul

who walks comfortably the waters

of the written word

the mystery is the well

upon which you draw and pen

molten visions

"those flames flickering

upon the periphery

of silence"

outside your window

I watch heavenly songs

and earthly passions swirl, inky

take on colors of oceans, sky

of birds banking the sun

the pink of fingertips

quilling a purple heart

spilling upon the page

next to them crystal orbs

still liquid form

crying with no sound

yet I can't tell if they

are yours or mine

for I breathe

their reflections

glean rubies and blueberries

from my dusty heart

as my mouth opens

silently against the glass

Don't

Don’t lecture me,

man.

Don’t tell me how happy you are

as you proceed to bitch about the car breaking down

and what a ball buster your day has been.

Don’t lie to me about the peace you’ve found

when your brother and you haven’t spoken

in months.

Don’t bemoan to me how f*cked up life is

while we watch Debbie kick dallas’ ass

on your flat screen,

your 15 year old alone in a room somewhere

doing god knows what.

Don’t continue to make a mockery out of your bibles,

man,

your holy books,

which say thou shall have no false gods before me,

and then expect the greatest of spirits

to sit back and let you do it.

Don’t preach to me about the religion you found,

like this latest elixir will now save the f*cking world

of your choice

as if some god actually planned all this shit

and some devil is forcing the play.

Don’t let my language throw you off,

being irrelevant to the path of peace,

which says enough is enough.

Don’t continue to hate your brother,

man,

anywhere,

and wonder why the planet is warming up,

this killing of self coming to a boil

as prophesized.

Just don’t do it,

man,

because I’m telling you,

I am not going to take it for very much longer,

and then you shall really know hell.
